Troop 39's Troop Committee met on August 13, 2007 at 6:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Russellville. Scott Godsey opened the meeting with prayer. Tammy Shaw reported a balance of $5012.62 in the troop checking account. No minutes were available from the last meeting. The committee then moved to old business and the election of new officers. Tammy opened the floor for nominations. They were as follows:

COR - Scott Godsey
Advancement - Bobby Standford
Scoutmaster - Chris Burcham
Chris made a motion to accept the nominations and Bobby seconded. Everyone agreed.
In new business, Chris expresseed the need for adult leadership for Tuesday night meetings. He suggested that each adult be responsible for planning a Tuesday meeting. Everyone agreed and signed up to help. Ben was asked to be in charge of Summer Camp this year and Tammy volunteered to head up the popcorn fundraiser again. Tammy asked everyone to remember to keep their receipts when needing reimbursement from the troop. With no other buisness the meeting was adjourned.
